Dr. Craig Benton

Dr Craig Benton did his undergraduate studies at Slippery Rock State College and his graduate studies at Texas Chiropractic College graduating in 1985.  He has been practicing in Lampasas, Texas since 1988.  During that time he has seen thousands of patients suffering from many different types of pain.  He emphasises spinal manipulation and home exercises to relieve pain improve function and maintain lasting results.  Dr. Benton has won numberous awards from his profession voted Young Chiropractor of the Year in 1998.  In 2021 he won the Keeler Plaque Award which is the highest award given to a doctor of chiropractic in the State of Texas.

More Of Our Background Story

We were one of 20 chiropractic clinics in the State of Texas which was involved in a Federally Funded Study on Chiropractic Care for Chronic Neck and Lower Back Pain.  This study is being adminstered by UCLA, RAND, and Samueli Institute.  This project was about why patients choose chiropractic care for chronic pain and how to improve care of chronic pain.

We were also involved in a research project called Safetynet.  This is through the University of Alberta, Canada and is the largest study to date on the safety of chiropractic care.

Dr. Benton is also involved in helping to determine "Best Practices" of Chiropractic Care through a consensus panel of chiropractors from around the world.

Dr. Benton has also been the lead chiropractor, in Texas, in an effort to Modernize Chiropractic under Medicare.  Chiropractic was first put in Medicare in 1972 and has never been updated or modernized
