About our Office

Benton Chiropractic Clinic has been serving the Lampasas area since 1988.

Dr. Benton performed his undergraduate studies at Slippery Rock State College in Pennsylvania, and completed his doctor of chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College graduating in 1985. 

Dr. Benton has been a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and in 1998 was Awarded the Young Chiropractor of the Year Award, and in 2021 the Keeler Award.  The Keeler Award is the highest honor given to a Chiropractor in Texas.

Dr. Benton's focus is on musculoskeletal conditions mostly lower back pain, neck pain, headaches but also working with auto accidents, sports injuries, knee and shoulder pain, and exercise therapy.  Dr. Benton was a participant in the DELIVERY research project through the University of Pittsburgh school of Medicine.  The research project involved learning about evidence based medicine which helps the patient get better quicker and with less costs

 

 

More Of Our Background Story

We were one of 20 chiropractic clinics in the State of Texas which was involved in a Federally Funded Study on Chiropractic Care for Chronic Neck and Lower Back Pain.  This study is being adminstered by UCLA, RAND, and Samueli Institute.  This project was about why patients choose chiropractic care for chronic pain and how to improve care of chronic pain.

We were also involved in a research project called Safetynet.  This is through the University of Alberta, Canada and is the largest study to date on the safety of chiropractic care.

Dr. Benton is also involved in helping to determine "Best Practices" of Chiropractic Care through a consensus panel of chiropractors from around the world.
